Danny Wisniewski - Head Coach   Danny has successfully ran CrossFit Central Lancaster - The Hive for over six years. He has built an incredible community of coaches and members, and has a lot of valuable experience and expertise that we are lucky to gain from.  As our head coach, he:  - sets the gym programming  - regulates and maintains our excellent coaching standards  - oversees coaches' development

Chelsea Eddy-Waland   Chelsea has been doing CrossFit for over three years, and has competed in a variety of individual and team events. She played competitive netball for her university, which is when she started CrossFit, using it as a strength and conditioning programme to improve her athletic performance. She is now the S & C Coach for Lancaster University Netball Team.   As with most who join CrossFit, she became obsessed and dreamed of opening her own gym. Now, she is a CrossFit Level One Trainer and continues to expand her coaching knowledge with specialist training courses nationwide. 

Chelsea Eddy-Waland

Chelsea has been doing CrossFit for over three years, and has competed in a variety of individual and team events. She played competitive netball for her university, which is when she started CrossFit, using it as a strength and conditioning programme to improve her athletic performance. She is now the S & C Coach for Lancaster University Netball Team. 

As with most who join CrossFit, she became obsessed and dreamed of opening her own gym. Now, she is a CrossFit Level One Trainer and continues to expand her coaching knowledge with specialist training courses nationwide. 

Daniel Appleby   Dan started his coaching journey in the army where he worked as a physical trainer. His job was to physically prepare the soldiers and himself for deployment. Dan started CrossFit when he left the army, because he wanted something that would challenge him and allow him to keep helping others.   Dan has coached CrossFit for over two years; coaching classes, individuals, Kendal Ladies' Football Team, and Kendal Rugby Team. You're guaranteed hugs and high fives!

Sheryl Coultas Anderson    Sheryl is a fantastic mother to two incredibly active children, Hattie and Joe. She began running a sport club after school for her children and their fellow classmates, which inspired her to start a 'Growing Strong' class for teens.   Sheryl also teaches a chair-based fitness class for the elderly, circuits, and Zuu. She's incredibly motivating, compassionate, and energetic. You're guaranteed a playful warmup and lots of fun in Sheryl's classes. 

Sheryl Coultas Anderson

Sheryl is a fantastic mother to two incredibly active children, Hattie and Joe. She began running a sport club after school for her children and their fellow classmates, which inspired her to start a 'Growing Strong' class for teens. 

Sheryl also teaches a chair-based fitness class for the elderly, circuits, and Zuu. She's incredibly motivating, compassionate, and energetic. You're guaranteed a playful warmup and lots of fun in Sheryl's classes. 

Beth Hoggarth   Beth has played pretty much every sport and even represented Great Britain for many years as a Judo athlete. After finishing uni, she felt unfit and unhappy, so she tried CrossFit. She walked into CFCL without a pushup or a decent squat, since then she has competed at the European CrossFit Games Regionals twice.  Besides being an outstanding athlete, Beth is an incredibly passionate coach. She excels in Olympic Lifting and has lots of technique and mindset tips to give you that competitive edge!

Beth Hoggarth

Beth has played pretty much every sport and even represented Great Britain for many years as a Judo athlete. After finishing uni, she felt unfit and unhappy, so she tried CrossFit. She walked into CFCL without a pushup or a decent squat, since then she has competed at the European CrossFit Games Regionals twice.

Sam Thompson    Sam loves working with members to achieve their goals. He's incredibly enthusiastic and loves seeing people master new skills. He's big on teamwork, pushing people to their limits, and really gets the most out of a session.   Sam loves a barbell, has aspirations to be a Viking, but is not a fan of running. He's a great cheerleader and keeps you smiling through those longer workouts! He's super keen and is developing his skillset, so expect lots more to come from Sammy T!
